The Jackster fears the shutting of the box for this reason.

The typical Silly Jackster is a fan of confined spaces, which it is used to. Apparently it feels safe.
They often hop their square boxes into square boxes for their reason. The world record is 55 layers of boxes in boxes, with a tiny Silly Jackster in the center.

Unlike the other Jacksters, the box is the same material as the Plush Jackster themselves.
It's basically sitting in it's own flesh-type cocoon, if you think about it.

Despite having a box, Mime Jackster likes to create invisible walls around itself. It's a fan of a wide berth personal space type of situation.
When these invisible walls are crossed it whimpers, but it's so quiet one could almost assume it never whimpered at all.
